The Central Alumni Office recently held the seminar, What makes for a happy and satisfied life? on 4 March at the RACV Club in Melbourne Victoria.
Presented by multi-award winning and widely published Deakin academic Professor Bob Cummins, the night proved an outstanding success with around 30 Alumni attending.
Professor Cummins’s presentation addressed quality of life improvement, happiness indicators and what makes people happy.
‘Judging by the feedback we had from guests, those who attended got a lot out of the seminar. Professor Cummins gave an outstanding talk and I’ve never seen so many questions asked by guests at the end of an event before’, said event coordinator Alastair Lee.
