Partnerships with Australian educational institutions

Australian National Business Schools (ANBS) Limited

Deakin University has an agreement with ANBS Ltd licensing the use of MBA units making up the Graduate Certificate of Management and the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration by ANBS member universities. More information can be found at the ANBS website.

Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT)

Under an Agreement with Deakin University, MIBT Melbourne and MIBT Indonesia are licensed to teach the first year Bachelor of Commerce core units. Students are able to transfer to Year 2 of the Bachelor of Commerce upon meeting the University academic progression criteria. Conditions and quotas apply.

Box Hill Institute of TAFE

Deakin University has an agreement with Box Hill Institute of TAFE to jointly offer the Bachelor of Management/Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management as a concurrent three year undergraduate program to students at its Melbourne campus.

South West Institute of TAFE

Deakin University has an agreement with South West Institute of TAFE to jointly offer the Bachelor of Management/Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management and Bachelor of Management/Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management as concurrent three year undergraduate programs at its Warrnambool campus.

TAFE Institutes

Since 1995, Deakin University has licensed a number of individual TAFE institutes to each Bachelor of Commerce core units. Students are able to transfer to the Bachelor of Commerce with full credit upon meeting criteria for successful completion. Current arrangements exist with Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE, and Chisholm Institute of TAFE.
