Australian Business Week develops the entrepreneurial and small business culture of talented young Australians. The Victorian State Program, which has been hosted by the Faculty of Business and Law since 1994, provides a unique opportunity for industry, educators and schools to work together during intensive learning experience conducted as a one-week residential program.
ABW gives young people the opportunity to learn about business by working with business professionals and educators from business organisations, schools and universities.
Sixty Year 12 students are awarded a $2000 scholarship to attend the annual Victorian State Program, and in groups of ten, take over an established computer simulated company and assume the role of company employees. In an experiential hands-on process, they make decisions affecting the company's performance in the marketplace.
