The Student Liaison Unit of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) will be presenting an information session to international students at the Warrnambool campus at 8:30 am on Tuesday 13 May in Room B3.18.
The Student Liaison Unit (SLU) conducts a number of targeted information sessions on rights, obligations and responsibilities and also undertakes a liaison role for international student welfare concerns.
The SLU also run information sessions for students regarding their visa responsibilities whilst in Australia. The presentation covers a number of topics including student visa conditions and requirements, permission to work and further visa applications. Relevant individual questions are taken at the conclusion of the presentation.
Students at Warrnambool will have received an email from JWT Education Project inviting you to attend a focus group to talk about your experiences. Consultants from the project will be at the Warrnambool campus on Tuesday, 3 June for 2 sessions at 2pm and 4pm. Please make yourselves available if possible - and don't forget the $50 for attending.
