There are several opportunities to gain workplace experience as part of, or in addition to, your university studies. Work placements may not have academic credit attached, but are valuable in providing exposure to workplaces, practices and contacts that can be invaluable when you are seeking a job. Internships, industry based learning and experiential learning are specific types of work experience you can take part in, usually during your third year of study.

The Faculty of Business and Law offers the Business Internship Program, which may be incorporated into undergraduate courses from other faculties, allowing students the opportunity to both observe and participate in a range of real world business experiences related to their studies.
