Resi Meals
Residents at Warrnambool and Waurn Ponds are given the option of several
set “resi”
meal allowances. These meal allowances are loaded onto the
student’s Deakin Card at the beginning of each semester. To obtain
these meals,
the student brings their Deakin Card to the dining hall. The card is
swiped through a reader that deducts one meal from the student’s
weekly meal
allowance. This allowance is renewed every Sunday.
The dining room caters for special dietary needs and provides
Asian, halal and vegetarian meals, among others.

A weekly menu of the residential meals is posted on the food services
website by Monday every week.
Resi Dollars
In addition to the set meals, student resident Deakin Cards can be loaded
each semester with “resi dollars”. This money can be used
at any food@deakin outlet (Spotless) at any time throughout the semester,
giving resi students more flexibility with their meals.
Student resident Deakin Cards can also be used for all other functions,
including photocopying and printing. However, to use these services funds
need to be loaded onto the card. Resi dollars can only be used at Spotless
(food@deakin) outlets.
