University Legislation affecting changes to exam locations

Students seeking to change their postal address and/or examination location must comply with the following schedule:

UP TO 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO EXAMINATION CYCLE: Subject to existing guidelines for the management of examination locations, no penalty will apply.
BETWEEN 2 AND 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO EXAMINATION CYCLE: If a student requests that a change be implemented, then a penalty fee of between $50.00 and $200.00 will be applied against the student in accordance with University Administrative Fees and Charges schedule (Late change of examination location charge).
LESS THAN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO EXAMINATION CYCLE: No change is permitted under any circumstances.

Students who determine that they will be unable to sit their examination at the prescribed time and place may elect to seek and justify an Application for Special Consideration in Assessment, through their Unit Chair or nominated Faculty Officer. Students enrolled in examinable off campus units are strongly advised to review their examination location requirements and inform the University of any change in circumstances, at least 4 weeks prior to commencement of exam cycle.
