For prospective graduands wishing to attend a graduation ceremony in Australia a fee of AUD $132.00 applies (including GST). For graduands wishing to attend a graduation ceremony overseas a fee of AUD$132.00 applies. This charge covers hire of the academic regalia, two guest tickets and light refreshments.
Payment should be made at the time of lodging the online Application to Graduate by credit card via StudentConnect.
The gown hire fee comprises of:

| Hood Hire | $11.00 (GST inslucive) |
If you have your own Deakin regalia (or part thereof) relevant to the award from which you are graduating please advise the Graduations Office and your graduation fee will be reduced by the relevant amount.
Full refund is given if at least 4 weeks notice is given from date of graduation ceremony.
$25.00 retention fee for notice between 2 - 4 weeks from date of graduation ceremony.
100% retention fee for less than 2 weeks notice from date of graduation ceremony.
