If you are applying to the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery program, the Helen and Geoff Handbury Accommodation Scholarships are available to assist you with your on-campus accommodation costs.
A payment of $7500 towards annual accommodation costs in University residences at the Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds.
Four years (normal duration of the course), subject to satisfactory academic performance

Academic merit, once financial or other disadvantage has been established and you are required to move away from home.
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a commencing student enrolled in the Deakin Medical Program as a Commonwealth supported student.
Selection is based on access and equity criteria and commitment to rural or regional medical practice in the state of Victoria.
