Alfred Deakin Scholarships

The Alferd Deakin Scholarships in Law were introduced in 2001, the centenary of Australian federation. Alferd Deakin, after whom the University is named, was Australia's second Prime Minister and our first Attorney General. A small number of these elite scholarships are awarded to high achieving students admitted to the Bachelor of Laws, as a single degree or law component when combined with another degree.

Eligibility

A commencing student enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws or a combined law course in a Commonwealth Supported Place at the Melbourne Campus at Burwood, Geelong Campus at Warun Ponds or the Warrnambool Campus.

Value

Cash payment up to $2000 per year, subject to academic performance, and academic mentor.
