| advanced standing | A collective term including both credit transfer and credit for prior learning. It means credit granted towards a course at the University for relevant approved study, experience or work satisfactorily completed at the University or elsewhere |

| alumni | Graduates of a university are alumni. Plural of alumnus and alumna. An alumnus (masculine) or alumna (femine) of a college, university or school is a former student. |
