Nano-technology

Advanced materials and composite research encompasses a multi-disciplinary team of over 80 researchers working in collaboration with industry partners to develop new materials, material technologies and material processing techniques. The focus is nano-technology and desktop manufacturing.

Core tenants are VCAMM, The International Fibre Centre and the The Centre for Fibre and Polymer Research.

Core industry partners include Ford, Holden, Toyota, Bradmill, The Textile Institute, The Technical Textiles and Non-woven Association (TTNA), Australian Wool Innovations (AWI) and CSIRO.
