Speciality Areas
The primary focus of research conducted by the QRM is on improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery across the continuum of care in hospital, aged care and community settings. We are particularly concerned with needs in clinical risk and symptom management that require further knowledge and development, and in doing so our research program addresses four of the National Health Priority Areas (AIHW, 2004) namely; cardiovascular health, cancer control, injury prevention and diabetes.
Objectives:
The cluster includes an integrated research program with our healthcare partners (Southern Health, The Alfred, Cabrini Health, Barwon Health, Epworth Centre, Eastern Health).
