DSO workshops

The Institute of Teaching and Learning run a series of two-hour, hands-on workshops covering different aspects of the Deakin Studies Online (DSO) environment. These sessions provide an opportunity for staff to practise using specific tools and to explore strategies for using them in their teaching practice.

Introduction to Deakin Studies Online (DSO)

These hands-on introductory workshops are designed for staff who are new to DSO and will cover the following:

basic overview of the DSO environment
navigating a DSO unit
setting up discussions and adding content
posting announcements and discussion messages
how to get help.

Please contact the ITL Support Service to arrange an Introduction to DSO workshop. Workshops can be arranged for groups or individuals and be tailored to meet the specific needs of participants.
