Third party copyright content used online must be copyright compliant. Content communicated online in reliance on the statutory licences (Parts VB or VA of the Copyright Act) has to be registered on the Online Communication Compliance Register (OCCR) and the appropriate Commonwealth Copyright notice must be displayed with that content.

The copyright team in Knowledge Media Division provide advice on all aspects of copyright, for print, digitised, audio and video materials to be used in course materials and for teaching or research purposes.
