ElluminateLive! (eLive) has been selected as the synchronous communications tool for Deakin University. It aims to enhance both on- and off-campus learning as it facilitates communication and collaboration between staff and students.

eLive is a real-time training, demonstration and collaboration environment that is powerful, flexible and easy to use. It enables the delivery of live, online learning, training, coaching, mentoring and meetings.

Creating an eLive session

eLive participants can either be moderators or participants. Normally, Deakin staff will be moderators and students will be participants. However, there may be times when you will need to make your students moderators in an eLive session. An example of why you might do this is so students can upload PowerPoint presentations and record sessions.

The role you want students to play in an eLive session will affect how you create that session. Students cannot create an eLive session.
