Deakin University
Deakin University Library offers Library membership to Deakin University graduates and former staff, including those living overseas. To become a Library member, firstly join the Deakin University Alumni Community and then apply for discounted Library membership.
Membership entitlements include:
Borrowing
Access to Resources
- Borrow up to 20 items at any one time
- Loans are for 14 days
- Items may be requested from any Deakin University Library campus
- The Library collection includes over 1.5 million items and over 70,000 journal titles (some restrictions may apply)
- access to selected online databases.
- photocopying/scanning facilities
Membership information:
Membership is available to individuals only. Other Library memberships with other entitlements are also available. More information on who can register as an Alumni Library Member, and how, is available on the Community Borrower's webpage.
Selected databases are available with membership. (Other free databases and resources are available at other locations.)
Library staff are available to assist you with any queries you may have regarding information resources and services.
Annual Membership Fee :
$90.00 Alumni living in Australia.
$180.00 Alumni living overseas.
How to take out Library Membership:
Complete the Library Membership application form including your Alumni Membership number and send with payment to:

Cash payments may be made on any campus at the Cashier's office during business hours. Please note: Cash payments cannot be accepted at the Library.
