As an off campus student specific library services available to assist with your study needs.

Library services available to off campus students

Students eligible to use these services are those enrolled as Deakin University off campus students, or a student who has been approved to receive the service due to special circumstances.

Services include:

being able to request delivery of books to your home or work, and electronic delivery of articles. A library-paid return postage bag is included.
request assistance a search for information on a topic be conducted on your behalf to locate material that can be delivered to you.

Borrowing in person at Deakin University Library, and from other libraries

You are welcome to visit the Deakin University Library in person. Please remember to bring your Deakin Card to borrow from the Library. Also as a tertiary student, you may also be able to borrow from other libraries near you.

Library Help

Finding and using information can sometimes be challenging. All library users are likely to have questions or need advice, including how to find the right articles, or books for assignments. There are Liaison Librarians who you are welcome to contact for help with finding library resources, or you may contact the Library by phone, email, live chat, to ask for assistance.

Resources Update - a new bi-monthly newsletter for off campus students with the latest information on new databases and other online resources that have been purchased or subscribed to by Deakin University Library. Tips and hints on searching databases, catalogues, and other helpful information's is also included.

Overseas off campus students

Information on how to use and access library resources, and identifies some of the huge range of online information that is available from the Library's website, that will satisfy most of your research needs.
