Borrowing
Special Collection material may
be used inside the Library. The Library seeks to make this material as
accessible as possible, while at the same time providing for the long-term
preservation of the collection. Items in the Special Collection may be
consulted in the Reading Room at the Geelong Waterfront Campus during
Special Collection opening hours or
within the Library at the Warrnambool and Burwood campuses.
Items that are rare, valuable or
vulnerable are not available for inter-campus loan. Some Special
Collection material may be available for intercampus loan for Deakin University staff and students.
Copying
Photocopying can be arranged, depending upon the condition of the work to be copied and the amount of copying to be done. Alternate arrangements can be made for items that are unable to be photocopied. Digital cameras may be used. Any copying of any kind must comply with current copyright regulations. Archival or manuscript material may not be copied by any means.
