Stationery

The Supply Group, Procurement Services area, provides a comprehensive stationery ordering service. Services include ordering standard and printed business stationery on-line as well as a procurement service for non-standard stationery.

Polices and Procedures for Purchasing

Stationery orders must conform to the University's Purchasing Policy.

Corporate Express Online Ordering

Deakin University has a negotiated contract with Corporate Express to provide an on-line stationery ordering system via NetXpress. Authorised users have access to NetXpress (internet ordering) which enables them to order stationery directly from Corporate Express without having to raise a purchase order.  Orders are processed immediately by the supplier with delivery to most campuses the following day.

Budget centres are debited by journal download on a monthly basis and provided with detailed reports for reconciliation purposes.

The agreement with Corporate Express provides the University with catalogue prices for all stationery items with additional discounts on nominated contract lines (Xpress Form items).  All cost savings are directly passed on to the budget centres.

Corporate Express User Guide

Corporate Express Online User Applications Forms

Because the online ordering system effectively gives a user the ability to purchase goods directly from Corporate Express without producing a purchase order, all users must have financial authority in-line with Deakin Financial Management System (DFMS) delegations. Budget Centres must ensure that they advise Procurement Services to change or remove access immediately it is no longer required

An Online Stationery Ordering Application Form is required for each new staff member requiring access, or for any changes to current access, and must be authorised by an approver who has at least $10,000 financial delegation for the budget centres that the user will be purchasing for.

User names and passwords should be treated with the same security as all other University computer systems.
