Partnerships and agreements

APIRO is responsible for the establishment, monitoring and ongoing management of all partnerships and agreements between Deakin University and international organisations, as well as institution-wide partnerships with Australian institutions.

APIRO has particular responsibility for partnerships and agreements in the following areas:

offshore teaching
course licensing
student exchange and study abroad
outgoing international study experience programs
incoming study tours
general academic collaboration
TAFE alliances
Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology.

APIRO also prepares advanced standing and articulation agreements where these are required by the national or institutional policy framework of another country.
