CMFI Facilities

The Centre for Material and Fibre Innovation is housed in the Geelong Technology Precinct (GTP) at Deakin University's Geelong Campus.

The research facilities within the centre have been described in the two following links: laboratories and equipment. The centre has a wide range of specialised laboratories in the areas of metals, composites, polymers, textiles and biomedical research. Each is equipped with state of the art equipment to enable our staff and students to undertake their research. Some of the specialised pieces of equipment have been described in detail to show their capability.
