KD Stewart Centre

The KD Stewart Centre, located on the Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds, was voted in the top 10 facilities around Australia in the 2005 Fitness Industry Awards.

The complex comprises many facilities including the main hall, which can be set up for various sports including netball, basketball and indoor hockey and cricket. The hall can also be transformed to accommodate up to 1000 people for events such as debutante balls, graduation dinners and exams.

The complex has a multi-function room with a kitchen, which can be used for a variety of a group sport activities including aerobics, karate and yoga or can be transformed for lectures, meetings, trade displays, cocktail parties and luncheons for up to 150 guests. It is fully air-conditioned with data points and network outlet and fully equipped PA system, variable lighting. We can also arrange overhead projector, whiteboard and screen, VCR/DVD player, data projector,, 35mm slide projectors, TVs, lecterns, microphones (hand and lapel) and portable PA at an additional cost.

The KD Stewart Centre also has a small meeting room, squash courts and billiard tables for use.
